Meet the Packwoods

So who are the Packwoods? Here is everything you would want to know about us.

We have a house in Currie, on the outskirts of Edinburgh - our home town for the past 15 years. We all love holidays abroad particularly Florida, going to shows, bouncing on the trampoline, snow and music.

Here are the details of us individually.

Steve

I worked as a fraud prevention manager with the Royal Bank of Scotland until mid May 2007. Previously I spent 5 years onboard the OM ship Doulos visiting some 40 different countries during 3 different times on board.

I've worked as a bookshop manager, cafe manager, asst warehouse manager and events co-ordinator amongst other things.

In 2006, I helped organise a large charity event that included a 10km sponsored run and an outdoor music concert.

I am actively involved in our church, Carrubbers which we have been a part of for 13 years. I have just stepped down from looking after all the church's missionaries.

I love going to live concerts - U2 was the best so far, travel - I was just in my 66nd country, hosting parties and bbq's, chatting with friends, skiing, swimming, motorbikes, snow, theme parks (particularly Orlando) action and comedy films and doing things I've never done before - ie a parachute jump.

Heather

I worked part time as a GP practice nurse and did some nightshifts in the hospital jus for a laff !!I enjoy running and am currently in training for the Kiel Half marathon it shud b a doddle!I was studying part time doing modules towards a degree in nursing with health studies but have found it very hard to keep up on the ship. I do not enjoy studying at all life is too short to have to study but i need to get the degree!!

Liam

Liam is now 9 and doing well in the Logos Hope school where he is soon to go into 5th year of primary school. He is doing well at writing and maths. He loves Pirates of the Carribbean and Star Wars, the trampoline, swimming and diving, watching DVD's and playing with his game boy. He also loves dressing up and has lots of different costumes.

Like his dad he loves Christmas and snow. He has tried ice skating and skiing, rock climbing and lazer quest.

Liam has a good fashion sense and always thinks about what he wears.

Kara  

Kara is a gorgeous 7 year old who can charm you with her smile and drive you mad with her stubborness. She will be going into her 3rd year of school in September on the Logos Hope and is doing really well with her reading.

She is now really into Hannah Montanna and High School Musical  and also loves Disney Princesses, pets, going on her trampoline, playing with her friends, going to the zoo, swimming, watching DVD's, dancing and singing.
